North Shore Rotary Bowl-a-Thon was Successful

DSC_5418The North Shore Rotary of Staten Island had a wonderful turnout on April 14th At Rab’s Country Lanes on Hylan Blvd.  Over 200 supported the event. Everyone had a great time. Funds were raised for local Autism groups including: GRACE Foundation, Eden II, JCC, T.R.Y., and the P.S. 373 Music & Dance Troop Program. Autism Speaks and Eden II had tables at the event to show our guests the types of organizations we support.  A special thank you goes out to Christine DeHart, event Chair and the Bowl-a-Thon Committee!  The North Shore Rotary owes the success of our event to her.  The days activities included: 2 hours of bowling, pizza/beverages, caricature drawings, raffles and more.  We had a stellar response for lane signs thanks to Bernie, Jamey and others who recruited sponsors. So many people contributed to the success of this event. Sorry for not naming them all here, but you know who you are.  From the looks of all the happy faces, cheering and fellowship, this event was a major hit from every aspect. Christine will have the fundraising figures soon.  She thanked everyone for their participation and support. Check out the gallery below for a glimpse at the fun.
