January 19th Staten Island;s North Shore Rotary installed Dennis Surmanek. Dennis comes from a long line of Staten Island Rotarians. His grandfather Tony Garcia and father Dennis Surmanek senior both served in Mid-Island Rotary. Dennis is a retirement specialist with Merril Lynch. He is Involvled with the Saint John's University Internship program and looks forward to helping the North Shore Rotary give back to the local community and abroad. Charles Di Bartolo was proud to sponsor Dennis into the club and feels Dennis will make an excellent Rotarian.
President Anthony Diodato Announced the installation and Ken Decker a past president and long time Rotarian welcomed Dennis into the club with a wonderful introduction. Dennis made a warm exceptance speech. North Shore Rotary will be welcoming additional Rotarians in the coming months. Check back soon for more details.
