North Shore Rotary Club Immediate Past President, Chris Williams, was recently honored by the New York Center for Interpersonal Development (NYCID) at their Annual Benefit, Thursday May 1, for his dedicated service to the Staten Island Community. This event was co-chaired by two North Shore Rotary Club Members, Regina Boukhvalova and Dennis Surmanek.
The New York Center for Interpersonal Development (NYCID) is a not-for-profit organization on Staten Island that promotes the improvement of human relationships and the strengthening of communities as fundamental to achieving a civil society. NYCID provides youth, community and professional development programs, as well as dispute resolution services that educate and inform the public about constructive problem-solving, effective communication and intercultural awareness. NYCID also operates a training institute to teach these skills to others.
