Help us promote Autism Awareness in our community by taking part in the “Light it Up Blue” program and having fun at our annual Bowl-a-thon. “Light it Up Blue” is a national campaign launched by Autism Speaks in 2010 observed on April 2nd that uses blue light to raise the level of Autism Awareness. We are asking that on April 2nd you switch the light bulb on your porch with a blue light bulb that you can receive from many of our members’ businesses including Williams Eye Works.
When you stop by to get your blue light bulb, you can also sign up for our Bowl-a-thon. The Bowl-a-thon is our annual fundraiser for Autism. This year it will be on April 14th at Rab’s Bowling Alley. The minimum donation is $75 to bowl and $25 to join in the fun without bowling. Pizza and beverages will be provided and there will be great raffles, door prizes, and 50/50.
There are many ways to help our Bowl-a-thon become a success. Outside of participating you can advertise your business with lane signs or donate a raffle item. Proceeds benefit the Staten Island Autistic Community.
Help us promote Autism Awareness with a little color and fun.
