District Governor Greg Arcaro visited North Shore Rotary to commend the club on its continued commitment to the Staten Island community and its leadership with the borough's important Turkey Basket initiative which feeds thousands of families during the holidays.
His presentation "It's All About the Clubs," drove home the "Trifecta of Excellence" model that he hopes will resonant with the district's 48 clubs and inspire its 1,500 members to continue their good work.
Components of the Trifecta include:
Item One: The meetings. Where good people join together in good spirit to do good things. It is through our weekly meetings that passions are discovered and projects are realized.
Item Two: The five avenues of service projects, which include club, vocational, international, community and new generation. By offering our community a full range of beneficial projects, everyone will benefit.
Item Three: Publicity. If the club is doing good, share it with our friends, our families, our communities and the media.
Through a series of heartwarming anecdotes, Governor Arcaro buoyed the club by stressing that success in the Trifecta will in turn increase membership, increase donations and perhaps more importantly generate a successful conduit of leadership.
